| Rotational molding
is the superior technology for jobs where low volume runs are common. Production runs of
fewer than 100 parts are not uncommon. Changing colors is a simple process that
generates no scrap and produces no downtime characteristic of both blow molding and
injection molding processes.
In a roto-mold operation, each
mold is individually charged during the fill cycle with polymer resins and mixed
colorants. Multiple molds on each rotating arm allow different parts in different colors
to be molded simultaneously. Colors can be changed in one complete cycle.
Ameri-Kart uses hi-intensity mixing
equipment to add colorants to natural resins to give you brilliant hues and exceptional
color dispersion in the finished item.
