Wall Construction |
|
|
Designing a product with
double wall construction increases its load bearing properties and structural integrity
without adding much weight. Interior cavities can be left hollow or filled with foam.
Metal inserts can be completely contained in a double wall design eliminating several
secondary manufacturing steps. Double wall designs allow a difference of appearance on
interior and exterior walls, single wall construction usually mirrors the wall's external
features.
